On November 12 2006, a week before the first preview, the authors and cast of GUTENBERG! The Musical! celebrated at the Hudson Theater on 44th Street. The workshop presentation of GUTENBERG! swept the boards at the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) First Annual NYMF Awards for Excellence:
